SPRA Bylaws April 2025 - Draft for 2025 AGM

Hello SPRA members!  This season an SPRA Bylaw Committee worked to review best practices for ringette association bylaws to support refreshed bylaws for our Association.  The draft Bylaws will be discussed and motioned at the April 23, 2025 AGM.  The Bylaws are here if you would like to review in advance of the AGM to support any membership feedback: https://sherwoodparkringette.ca/content/constitution-amp-operations-manuals

The SPRA Bylaw Committee consisted of board and association membership, and consulted with Ringette Alberta on best practice bylaws.  The draft has been vetted by legal and very similar versions are in use by other large ringette associations and RAB.  These align with the associations governing legislation, the Alberta Societies Act.

These have also been reviewed by the SPRA Board with feedback incorporated.
